jeff ham grew up on a 110-year-old family produce farm just outside of grand rapids, mi. he spent his youth slinging sweet corn and watermelon at local farmer’s markets, where the experience of food and community made a lasting impression on how he views the world. years ago, he took his first pottery class and fell in love with the plasticity and sensuality of the material, and marveled at the way beautiful, functional vessels can heighten and transform home spaces and personal experiences. he's been making pots ever since.

jeff lives in allendale, mi with his honey jeffrey (yes, two jeffs here!), carnegie mellon belle (a wonder of a silver pitbull) and saint tommy aquinas (a wonder of a frenchie). Jeff and jeffrey cofounded jolly ham studio and work together to create cozy ceramic pieces that bring warmth and joy to the home.
